Evening at favourite bistro in city

Living in a dry state (not literally), but where rains are scanty, people do get excited about handful of rains especially when it pours on weekends. Well, this year rain gods have been quite grateful and the place has been receiving over a decent amount rains. In fact, western part of the state was totally drenched and flood like situations was declared followed by rescue operations were initiated in the area.

So now, it's heavily pouring in Jaipur and I’m being jobless for quite sometime. Meanwhile, most of my friends, family around me are occupied with their routine. But it’s weekend. And I decide to hit a well-known cafe with my former colleague and a good friend. The place is called ‘On The House’, located in the heart of the city. The menu is very contemporary, inviting ‘cool’ youths of the city. But I could see people from all age-groups at this jaunt, unlike similar places in city. I’ve been fond of this place from beginning. My personal favourites are variety of eggs they serve as part of 'All day breakfast’.

So braving weather conditions, we reach the place and find a cosy corner for the next two hours. We chatted, ate and burped. It was an ideal Saturday ever. Occasional indulgence is must for mental health (seriously). Otherwise, I’m totally inclined towards 'ghar ka khana’ these days. It’s a way to detox all the toxins, I’ve stored eating junk all these years.

However, it's admirable that whatever we eat at this place, it’s never heavy on our tummy and it’s an experience of pure satiation.
